Dreamlinux is a Brazilian distribution based on Debian, Knoppix and Morphix. A live CD with a graphical hard disk installation option, it boots directly into an XFce desktop which provides access to a good collection of desktop applications and a central control panel for system configuration.

The XFce desktop is fairly appealing with the Mac OS style dock, but, in my case the distro was rather unstable. Just for something to do I installed this on two different machines. One machine newer and one that is older than dirt. Both installations were broken within 10 minutes after install. I dont know if it was when I updated the firefox version or if it was another update/upgrade that broke the systems, but they both failed rather quickly. I think that with some more development that Dreamlinux could be a nice little OS.
