Vim is a highly configurable text editor built to enable efficient text editing. It is an improved version of the vi editor distributed with most UNIX systems.
Vim is often called a "programmer's editor," and so useful for programming that many consider it an entire IDE. It's not just for programmers, though. Vim is perfect for all kinds of text editing, from composing email to editing configuration files.
Since I use VIM, I really dont't need any IDE.
I writing/coding that I need in VIM : Notes, Programs, WebPages, Sys Config.

Why I emphasize on VI/VIM everywhere and in any case that I see an equivalence in GUI and even CLI:
1. Why should I suppose that GUI/WM/DE must work well and correctly?
2. Why should I suppose that GUI/WM/DE Installed?
3. Why should I learn many Apps || Utils and waste golden times, when ---always there's one real Great thing that solved all problems?
4. Why should I suppose when I start to coding, I'll encounter with a Linux Kernel that Trimed and Madeup with a nice and ready to use Distro from a Great Vendor and All things || Ports || binaries availabe and installed correctly?
5. Why should I suppose when I try to teamworking, all my partner ready to use and share codes in same way that I supposed?
6 ...
7. So, I choose VIM and Igonre anything else.
