Legend of the Teal Dragon is a text-based Java RPG loosely based on Seth Robinson's BBS game Legend of the Red Dragon. You can buy weapons, stay at the Inn and fight randomly-generated monsters in the forest. LOTD requires the Sun Java VM version 1.4.2+ and is distributed as an executable JAR file.

	The game is rather simplistic. There is not much you can do in it except press a few buttons. The game revloves around attacking monsters and healing yourself, and there is also a minor component which is purchasing equipment. The game itself can be played forever, but there is very little room for advancement past the 6th level. The teal dragon can be beaten at that point rather easily. It is a game with a decent design and good writing, but it needs a significant amount of work in terms of playability. I would be willing to work with anyone who knows java to mould this game into a simplistic yet rather playable game with a great story and interesting interacting features. You can mail my user.
